In October 2025, we installed a new and important technology in our machining department: a Kuhlmeyer UKF 3.0 6000 beveling unit.

This machine is specifically designed for the chamfering of small, medium, and large components, using a high-performance abrasive belt system.

The investment, driven by increasing market demand, expands the range of processes offered by Tomatis Lamiere and makes chamfering operations on straight profiles more efficient and cost-effective.

Examples of parts processed with this machine include:

  • Bent profiles for telescopic booms and stabilizers
  • Agricultural and forestry blades
  • Components for overhead cranes and fabricated beams
  • Crane structures in high-strength materials
  • Hammers made of wear-resistant materials

The machine can process a wide range of materials, including all iron alloys, stainless steel, and aluminium, up to a thickness of 100 mm.
